Cant say it makes fries as good as oil but does ok. Handles meat products perfectly. High end restaurant quality meat . . . I mean it. Finishes juicy and tasteful. Good buy for sure. Not compact at all. It will take up most of a cupboard or countertop

After reading all the instructions cleaning the unit and preparing the food it stopped working 1/2 thru the 6min. cooking process. It flashed and beeped continuously. The only way to stop it was to unplug it. The chat with Gowise didnt help to fix it!!

Big size is great for making lots of home french fries for grand kids. Cooked pork chops well. For fried type foods does not do well if stacked on top of each other. Batter does not get done but still learning. No oil needed but a little bit does help with flavor.
