The superintendent of KIPP Houston Public Schools is Sehba Ali. Ali was first appointed to the position in July 2012.[4] She previously served as the chief academic officer of KIPP Bay Area Schools. Ali also founded KIPP Heartwood Academy in California in 2004. She holds a B.A. in English and psychology from the University of California-Berkeley and a master's degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Education.[5]
